1. Street Eats is a visibility platform

Street Eats, a software product of Buhrn Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company headquartered in Houston, Texas, shows status, location, menu, and demand information that participating businesses and users choose to publish. Our role ends at making participating vendors visible. We do not prepare, sell, or deliver food; we do not take orders or payments between customers and vendors; and we are not a marketplace, broker, agent, employer, or franchisor for any business shown in the app.

2. Every vendor is an independent business

Food trucks, carts, trailers, mobile beverage operators, venues, and event organizers on Street Eats are independent businesses. A listing, featured-partner placement, or Hot Spot response does not mean Street Eats owns, operates, inspects, certifies, or endorses that business, and does not create a partnership, agency, or joint venture.

3. No guarantee a truck appears, responds, or serves

Live data is supplied by participating businesses and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. A ping, Hot Spot, Hotspot Pot, favorite, featured placement, or any other Street Eats feature is a demand or visibility signal, never an order, reservation, or promise. No vendor is obligated to see, accept, respond to, or arrive for any signal, and Street Eats does not guarantee availability, arrival, wait times, menu accuracy, pricing, or service at any place or time. Confirm the current profile before traveling.

4. Hotspot Pot is optional incentive, not a booking

Hotspot Pot lets a group attach an optional pooled tip to a Ping so participating trucks can see headcount and tip size before deciding whether to move. It does not reserve a truck, create a contract for arrival, guarantee that a pot will fill, guarantee that any truck will respond, or guarantee that food will be served. Tips intended for the truck and any Street Eats service fee are collected only under the conditions shown in the app, typically after the group confirms arrival. If a truck does not come, the pot does not create a right to service elsewhere. Parking, permits, and whether to answer remain the truck’s call. Hotspot Pot is not available at app launch; see the early-launch section below for timing.

5. Early launch: discovery first, Ping later

Live truck discovery begins immediately. You can find trucks on the map and trucks can go live from day one. Ping a Truck, Hotspots, and Hotspot Pot are not available at launch. Those demand features are planned for August 2026 after the Kansas City rollouts, once more people and trucks are active locally.

Here is the straight talk. When a city is just getting started, there are fewer hungry people on the map and fewer trucks watching it. We do not promise overnight density, and we will not pretend a thin network behaves like a crowded one. This is normal for a two-sided platform. Go live when you are serving. Invite friends. Every real signal makes the next one easier. Use Street Eats when you can, and the rest follows.

6. Local laws are each party’s own responsibility

Vendors are solely responsible for their licenses, permits, health and food-safety compliance, allergen disclosure, taxes, insurance, and lawful parking and operation in every jurisdiction where they serve. Customers are responsible for their own travel, parking, and purchase decisions. Partners and event coordinators are responsible for their venues, permits, safety plans, and agreements. Street Eats is not responsible if a vendor, customer, or partner fails to follow federal, state, or local law, and use of Street Eats does not make any operation legal or compliant.

7. Food safety and allergens

Street Eats does not inspect kitchens, verify ingredients, or review allergen handling. Direct all questions about ingredients, allergens, preparation, and dietary suitability to the vendor before purchasing. Street Eats is not liable for foodborne illness, allergic reactions, or product defects arising from a vendor’s operations.

8. Events, partnerships, and business results

Estimated attendance, demand signals, vendor interest, and partnership features do not guarantee turnout, sales, bookings, visibility, or any business outcome. Written agreements between the parties involved (not Street Eats screens) govern every event and partnership.

9. Research and statistics

Industry figures on our website come from third-party studies that Street Eats did not conduct. They are shared with their original scope for context and are not promises of Street Eats outcomes.

10. Not professional advice

Nothing in Street Eats is legal, financial, health, or business advice. Consult qualified professionals for decisions about your business, permits, insurance, or health.
